This view of the great tangka is from above looking down at the crowds gathered to make offerings and make their way to the front row so they can bow and touch their heads to the tangka to receive blessings from the Buddha. Fluttering in the air and laying atop the tangka are "windhorses" or paper mantras tossed by individuals as offerings.
