Video: Milarepa-Like Figures in Art

The images of Tibetan teachers below at first glance appear to be images of the famous Milarepa. However, the inscriptions identify them as other famous individuals such as Jamyang Tutob Wangchug, Shabkar, Ngagwang Lobzang Tanpa'i Gyaltsen, and Rechen Kunga Lodro. Each of these individuals are associated with the later legacy of Milarepa. There are also a number of Tibetan Incarnation lineages claimed to be descended from Milarepa.
