Notes about the Central Figure
Tsongkapa as a Mahasiddha (Indian Adept): this form of Tsongpkapa is based on a series of five visions experienced by the disciple Kedrub Geleg Pal Zangpo depicted kneeling at the bottom right corner of the painting.
