Interpretation / Description

Deshin Shegpa, 5th Karmapa (1384-1415): composition number #16 from the Karma Kagyu Sertreng set of lineage paintings.

At the top right is the meditational deity Manjuvajra Guhyasamaja. Seated at the middle right is the Chinese emperor Taming Gyallon.
