Interpretation / Description

Unidentified Four-armed Goddess.

This unidentified goddess sits in meditation on a lotus cushion atop a lion throne. With two pairs of hands, the lower two rest in the gesture of meditation while the upper hands perform the gesture of teaching at the heart. Held between the fingers of the upper two hands are the stems of two lotus blossoms supporting a conch shell on the right and a vase on the left.
