Interpretation / Description

Tara, Green (Tibetan: drol ma, jang ku. English: the Green Saviouress): with the right hand in the mudra (gesture) of generosity and the left holding the stem of a lotus flower at the heart and blossoming over the left shoulder. The right leg is extended forward and the left drawn in. At the top center is the buddha Amitabha.
