Interpretation / Description

Marpa Chokyi Lodro.

At the center is Marpa Chokyi Lodro, Hevajra at the top right, Marpa's consort Dagmema is holding a cup to the right of Marpa, below her is Marpa's student Ngok Choku Dorje. On Marpa's lower left is his student Meton Tsonpo and below is Tsurton Wangi Dorje, the principle recipient of the Guhyasamaja cycle of tantras from Marpa which later merged with the Shalu sub-sect of the Sakya tradition.
