Interpretation / Description

Karmapa possibly(?).

There are three Karmapas that are frequently depicted with the right hand over the knee and the left hand holding a jewel in the lap: 4th Gyalwa Karmapa, Rolpai Dorje (1340-1383). 5th Gyalwa Karmapa, Deshin Shegpa (1384-1415). 11th Gyalwa Karmapa, Yeshe Dorje (1675-1702).

The face appears to be too old for the 5th or the 11th Karmapa.
