Interpretation / Description

Loden Chogse, from the set of nine paintings depicting the main form of Padmasambhava and his eight principal manifestations.

In the appearance of a king, Loden Chogse is richly attired, holding aloft in the right hand a damaru drum. The left hand is thrust forward grasping a skullcup.
