Interpretation / Description

Padmasambhava, Nagarjuna and King Indrabhuti. This composition belongs to a three painting set depicting the Eight Great mahasiddhas of India along with Padmasambhava as the central figure.

The eight mahasiddhas depicted in the full set are Saraha, Indrabhuti, Nagarjuna, Padmavajra, Ghantapa, Dombi Heruka, Kukkuripa and Lawapa.
