Interpretation / Description

Rangjung Dorje, 3rd Karmapa.

Rangjung Dorje in teaching gesture. In the upper-right corner rests Nivaranavishkambhin bodhisattva. To the right of Rangjung Dorje is his teacher Nyenre Gendun Bum. In the lower right and wearing a red hat is the 1st Shamarpa, Dragpa Sengge (1283-1361). Below him is Dharma Gyaltsen.
