9th Tai Situ, Pema Nyingje Wangpo (1774-1853).
At the center of the composition is the 9th Tai Situ, Nyingje Wangpo, performing the gesture of teaching. In the upper left corner is the meditational deity Mahamaya with consort. Beneath the deity wearing a lotus hat is the Dzigar Shipa Rigdzin Dorje Dragpa, and below him is Situ's student Dabzang Nyedon Tenpa Rabgye (1808-1864/1867). The protector deity at the lower right is Panjarnata Mahakala.
