Interpretation / Description

Conch Shell. This shell which is preserved at Sakya Lhakang Chenmo Monastery, Tsang, Tibet, is believed to have been in the possession of Subhuti and used to call the monks together for teachings from Shakyamuni Buddha over 2500 years ago.
