Interpretation / Description

Legpa'i Jungne.

This is possibly either the Sakya lama Nesarwa Kunga Legpa'i Jungne (1704-1760) or Lowo Khenchen Sonam Lundrub Legpa'i Jungne (1456-1532). Based on the age of the sculpture, the facial characteristics of long sideburns and a rotund torso - it is more likely top be Lowo Khenchen - the famous scholar from Mustang, Nepal.
