Interpretation / Description

Naropa, Indian Adept, is #20 in the set of Eighty-four mahasiddhas as compiled by Abhayadatta. Naropa is famous in the lineages of Chakrasamvara, Yogini and Kalachakra. Considered one of the most influential Indian siddhas to shape Tantric Buddhism in the Himalayas and Tibet he is especially revered in the Sakya and Kagyu traditions.
