Interpretation / Description

Avalokiteshvara/Hayagriva.

The figure has three human faces and a horse head placed on top of the central face. With four hands the first right is in the gesture of generosity. The first left holds the stem of a flower blossom. The second right holds what appears to be a vajra scepter. The second left holds a water pot. Atop a double lotus seat, the right leg is drawn up and the left is pendant.
