Interpretation / Description

Sakya Pandita, Kunga Gyaltsen Pal Zangpo (1182-1251), the sixth throne holder of Sakya. At the top center is the buddha Shakyamuni with Hevajra on the left and Vajrayogini on the right. Seated above and along the sides are lineage teachers of the Sakya Tradition. At the bottom center is Panjarnata Mahakala.
