Interpretation / Description

Lama Tsongkapa (1357-1419): founder of the Gelugpa School, surrounded by various biographical scenes, with the Buddha Akshobhya, blue in colour, above at the top center. On the viewer's left side is Jampal Gyatso. Seated on the right side is Zangkyongpa. (See painting #94371).
