Interpretation / Description

Shakyamuni Buddha (Tibetan: sha kya tu pa, sang gye, English: the Enlightened One of the Shakya Clan) accompanied by two standing bodhisattvas, the bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara and Guru Rinpoche Padmasambhava above. A host of identical buddhas surround the central figures.
