Interpretation / Description

Shakya Sengge, Guru Rinpoche: from the set of eight emanations of Padmasambhava.

Appearing in the form of a buddha, the right hand performs the mudra (gesture) of fearlessness and the left holds a black begging bowl in the lap.

Yeshe Tsogyal sits in front holding a skullcup and kila dagger. At the top is Rongbu Guhya with prince Mutig Sangpo at the side. At the bottom left is Karchen Palgyi Wangchuk. At the right is Palgyi Sengge.
