Interpretation / Description

Akshobhya, Buddha (Tibetan: mi chu pa, sang gye): the Enlightened One of the Eastern Direction, from the set of Five Celestial Buddhas.

A blue vajra scepter stands upright in the palm of the left hand. Monks, deities and celestial figures fill the fore and backgrounds.
