NEWS
The ever growing Himalayan Art Resources Website now has over 25,000 images from collections worldwide. The homepage has been modified to highlight the three important sections of Definition of Himalayan art, Art types and New On The Site. Both the Index Page and Glossary Page have been updated but remain works in progress. The changes and additions outlined below are only an indication of the ongoing work that happens on the HAR site. Identifying previously unknown persons in portraits and recognizing deities with a name and descriptive source text, and determining which artworks go with which sets, and in whose collection, forms much of the unseen work. In an attempt to keep our viewers up to date on more of the changes more often, HAR will announce changes in a monthly newsletter. NEW MUSEUMS
A number of new museums have been added to the database. Not all of the art objects are entered in all related catagories and fields. This work will continue over the next few months. PUBLICATIONS
