Academia, Scribd and Amazon (Kindle) are all excellent sources for digitized books. A general search of the internet can sometimes also locate a pdf or stray digital copy of a text.

Physical Books:

Amazon is a good general resource. Abe Books is best for rare, out-of-print, and art books. On the West Coast of Canada the Banyen Books is by far the best vendor.

For Indian publications and many Tibetan books published in India then Saujanya and Motilal are the very best.
