Interpretation / Description

Jamgon Kongtrul Lodro Thaye (1813–1899).

At the center is Lodro Thaye, an important scholar from the 19th century. At the top left corner is Vajrasattva with one face and two arms, without consort. Below that is Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo (1820–1892), one of Kongtrol's main teachers & students. Below is Chogyur Lingpa, who received tantric vows from Lodro Thaye at Palpung in 1853. At the lower right is the protector Ekajati belonging to the Revealed Treasure tradition of the Nyingma school.
