Calendar Collection
The Tibetan Art Calendars published by Schneelowe
Verlagsberatung und Verlag since 1974 and the English version by Wisdom
Publications beginning in 1986, feature works of Himalayan art from notable
European private and museum collections. In most cases the calendars represent
the only publication of these important paintings.
Each calendar comprises 13 paintings, including the cover. While the
Himalayan Art Resources website does not presently have permission to
exhibit digital images of each of these paintings, the historical importance
of the 258 plus paintings from the last 26 calendars justifies their cataloging
here. A generic placeholder image appears when a digital image of the
